About the Role

• Lead cost reduction via material productivity analysis, spend analysis, and value engineering initiatives. • Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives, including supplier segmentation and market intelligence. • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance to align sourcing strategies with product roadmaps and cost targets. • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through diversification, contingency planning, and sustainability initiatives. • Build and maintain supplier relationships via performance reviews, contract negotiations, and collaborative improvement programs. • Manage supplier selection, onboarding, and development to ensure a resilient and high‑performing supply base. • Monitor category performance metrics such as savings realization, on‑time delivery, and total cost of ownership.

What You Bring

The role calls for an experienced commodity and account management professional who will oversee supplier selection, contract negotiation and strategic sourcing. You will partner with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs, improve sourcing strategy and drive cost‑reduction initiatives. The position requires strong collaboration with engineering, operations and finance teams to align sourcing with product roadmaps and cost targets. • B.E/B.Tech from a premier institute required; MBA preferred. • 12–16 years of category management experience, preferably in the HVAC industry. • Proven ability to work with global stakeholders across multiple countries. • Strong strategic thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Knowledge of engineering drawings, cost reduction, value analysis, and negotiation processes. • Demonstrated program and change management capabilities. • Self‑directed, accountable, and results‑driven mindset.
