About the Role
The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and mobile equipment. Duties include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, conducting safety inspections, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and using diagnostic tools to support efficient troubleshooting. What You Bring
Candidates must have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems. Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components is required, along with the ability to safely operate tools, testing equipment, and shop machinery. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to safety practices, reliability in work execution, and the capability to work both independently and within a team. Employment is contingent upon a post‑offer physical examination, drug/alcohol screening, and background check; some positions also require ongoing FMCSA‑regulated drug and alcohol testing. The work environment involves moving mechanical equipment and exposure to inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels. • Possess strong mechanical aptitude for diesel engine repair • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components • Work independently and within a team environment • Complete post‑offer physical exam, drug/alcohol screen, and background check • Some positions require FMCSA‑regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
