About the Role

The Operations Specialist for Collections at WM provides advanced clerical and administrative support to departmental managers and helps coordinate daily operations. You will support the collections department by handling administrative tasks and ensuring smooth daily operations. In this role you troubleshoot and resolve safety, service, and operational issues, maintain and distribute department information, communicate with supervisors about operational matters, and act as the KRONOS proxy for daily driver and helper updates. You also keep the office organized and serve as the primary point of contact for driver and helper schedule updates. You also use Microsoft Suite and other software tools to manage procurement, time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor, while you assist with payment processing and support operational projects. These tools help ensure efficient workflows and effective communication with customers and employees regarding service and scheduling. • Troubleshoot and resolve safety, service, and operational issues. • Maintain and distribute daily department information. • Serve as KRONOS proxy for driver and helper schedule updates. • Use Microsoft Suite and specialized software for procurement, time‑and‑attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor. • Assist with payment processing and implementation of operational projects. • Communicate with customers about service issues and with employees about scheduling. • Work primarily in a professional office environment with standard office equipment.
