About the Role
As an HR Business Partner, you will advise and support business teams, focusing on manager coaching, employee engagement, employee‑relations issues, learning and development initiatives, and performance management. You will also support global and regional HR strategies and contribute to projects that keep Stantec’s workforce engaged and client‑focused. • Coach and support managers across the organization. • Lead employee engagement initiatives. • Manage employee relations matters. • Support learning and development and performance management programs. • Partner with business units to implement global HR strategies. • Build strong relationships with APAC offices and internal clients. • Prioritise and manage workload autonomously. • Participate in mental health, wellbeing, and employee assistance programs.

What You Bring
A tertiary qualification in HR or a related discipline and at least five years of HR experience are required, together with proven partnership, influencing, and organisational skills to prioritize and manage workload. These skills enable you to maintain positive internal client relationships and effectively prioritize tasks. • Hold a tertiary qualification in HR or related field. • Minimum 5 years of HR experience. • Demonstrate commercial awareness and client‑focused mindset.

This 12‑month parental‑leave cover position provides a total remuneration package of up to $135,000 TRP and is based within Stantec’s national HR team serving more than 400 staff members. The role will be part of a national team that supports a large employee base, making the position both challenging and rewarding. The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder who can influence managers and employees to achieve business outcomes, demonstrates commercial awareness, multi‑tasking ability, energy, and resourcefulness, and works autonomously across APAC offices.
