About the Role

The Operating Engineer role supports the operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems for JLL’s Atlanta properties. This on‑site position works a night shift from 8 pm to 7 am, Monday through Friday, and local market requirements may vary slightly. The role involves routine maintenance and emergency response across building systems, managing work orders, and ensuring safety compliance. The engineer also participates in ongoing technical and safety training to stay current with industry standards. • Perform painting, pressure washing, lighting maintenance, plumbing, HVAC servicing, water‑treatment, locksmith work, and general upkeep tasks. • Manage daily work orders in the CMMS and fulfill tenant service requests. • Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on building systems. • Respond to on‑call or emergency situations and troubleshoot electrical, DDC, and pneumatic controls. • Follow all safety procedures and participate in technical and safety training programs. • Deliver strong customer service in a fast‑paced environment. • Work on‑site in Atlanta, GA, schedule 8 pm–7 am, Monday‑Friday.

What You Bring

Candidates should have at least three years of relevant experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry, complemented by trade school, union, military, or college education. A Universal CFC EPA certification—or the intention to obtain one within the first year—Microsoft Office proficiency, ability to lift 50 lb, climb ladders up to 30 ft, and strong customer‑service skills are required. The position is based on‑site in Atlanta, GA, does not provide visa sponsorship, and requires candidates to be authorized to work in the United States.
