About the Role
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine material quantities and sizes • Identify and gather required tools and safety precautions for each task • Fabricate, cut, bend, and weld steel components according to instructions • Hoist equipment using bull rigging or crane and verify alignment with plumb bobs, lasers, or levels • Connect and bolt columns, beams, and girders as per plans • Temporarily position steel members for permanent fastening

What You Bring
ZACHRY is hiring an experienced Maintenance Industrial NCCER Boilermaker for ExxonMobil in Beaumont, Texas. The position does not include per diem. The role involves constructing iron and steel structures, including a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) and related components. Candidates must have at least four years of NCCER Boilermaker experience with exchanger work, possess the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, meet demanding physical requirements, work at heights over 300 ft, and provide their own tools and reliable transportation. Preference is given to current or former Zachry employees, those with NCCER Journeyman Carpenter certification, and individuals with formal technical education. The job requires extensive physical activity such as standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lb, as well as operating at heights using ladders, platforms, or man‑lifts while wearing required personal protective equipment. Safety is a top priority, and workers must follow fall protection and other safety protocols. • Minimum 4 years NCCER Boilermaker experience, including exchanger work • Current Zachry or Zachry ROF’ed employee preferred; prior Zachry Industrial experience valued • NCCER Industrial Journeyman Carpenter certification required • Formal/technical education required • Reliable transportation and personal tools required • Capability to work at heights exceeding 300 ft and use fall protection • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, lift up to 50 lb, and operate in varied conditions • Wear required PPE: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear protection, respirator, safety vest, gloves, leather work boots
