About the Role

The Senior Sales Manager is a customer‑facing role responsible for winning new business and developing a long‑term vision for product lines. As part of a technical sales staff, you will position Baker Hughes technology, identify the best technical and commercial solutions, and lead business‑development planning for the target market. • Lead discovery sessions with O&G and industrial customers to identify operational challenges and profitability impacts. • Highlight maintenance, reliability, inspection, and testing issues and propose improvement strategies. • Develop scenarios on information, tools, or skills that could transform identified challenges. • Secure customer agreement on preferred scenario through cause‑effect analysis. • Design practical solutions (roadmaps, architecture, integration) using the IS portfolio (condition monitoring, AI, etc.). • Present solutions aligned with the business opportunities they generate. • Partner with account teams to select pilot sites, assess stakeholders, and gather background information. • Coordinate cross‑functional sales teams (engineering, legal, finance, risk) for medium‑large, multi‑country deals.
