About the Role
The Business Insights & Automation team at Autodesk is seeking an intern to develop management reporting, dashboards, metrics, and analysis for Corporate Finance, Sales Finance, and Divisional Finance Business Partners. The role involves collaborating with finance stakeholders, BI developers, and the Digital Platform and Experience organization to define requirements and deliver innovative data visualizations that enhance user experience. • Develop reports and dashboards by translating functional requirements into user‑friendly, flexible outputs with an appealing experience. • Balance business requirements with technical feasibility and set realistic expectations. • Conduct user research, evaluate feedback, and establish design guidelines, standards, and best practices. • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the latest BI tools, principles, and practices; present information through visual storytelling.

What You Bring
The position requires translating functional needs into intuitive, flexible reporting solutions while balancing technical feasibility and stakeholder expectations. Interns will engage in user research, apply design best practices, stay current with emerging BI tools, and communicate insights clearly to both peers and senior leaders. Applicants should be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, and possess strong analytical, problem‑solving, and visual storytelling abilities. Experience or a strong interest in data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, or Sigma, as well as knowledge of database concepts, is essential. High self‑motivation, a delivery focus, and excellent teamwork skills are also required. • Communicate strategically, write concisely, and speak effectively to peers and superiors. • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with a programming background. • Demonstrate tech savviness, analytical curiosity, and strong problem‑solving skills. • Show experience or strong interest in data visualization and user experience using tools such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, or Sigma. • Exhibit strong analytical and visual storytelling abilities. • Possess experience or coursework covering database structures and concepts. • Maintain high self‑motivation and a strong delivery focus. • Demonstrate excellent teamwork and relationship‑building skills.
