About the Role

The supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily production, preparing ingredients, and delivering breakfast service when required. They also maintain cleanliness, ensure proper temperature control of food and equipment, stock counters and displays, and uphold opening and closing procedures to guarantee smooth shift transitions. • Plan daily production according to sales forecasts. • Prepare ingredients and set up stations for service. • Serve breakfast and operate the barista station when needed. • Clean, wash dishes and sanitise benches, tables, fridges, and storage areas. • Monitor and maintain correct temperature for food items and equipment. • Stock merchandise counters and display cases before service. • Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed by all staff. • Supervise a team of 8‑10 employees on rotating shifts.

What You Bring

Candidates must have proven supervisory experience in a high‑traffic café, coffee shop or cafeteria, possess barista skills, and demonstrate exceptional customer service. Required certifications include a current Food Handlers Certificate and a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
