Job Highlights
About the Role
Essential duties include operating the vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal requirements while maintaining a clean and safe truck. The driver conducts pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and reports any unsafe situations, incidents, or service calls to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. Responsibilities also encompass cooperating with scheduled training, improving route efficiencies, assisting other drivers, dumping containers cleanly, positioning them properly on customer property, and completing all required documentation at the end of each route. • Operate a CDL‑B heavy‑duty truck safely on assigned transfer routes. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete DVIR reports. • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and service issues to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Load, unload, and position containers, ensuring customer sites are left clean. • Follow route assignments, document trips, and submit customer tickets as needed.

What You Bring
Qualifications: No formal education or prior experience is required, but candidates must hold a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL‑B) and be at least 18 years old. Applicants must successfully complete a pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and possess an acceptable driving record. A REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative may be required for travel by air or access to federal property, and candidates must be willing to obtain this credential if needed. Drivers are expected to operate vehicles and equipment safely and reliably, contributing to clean communities and delivering exceptional service. • Maintain an acceptable driving record and pass DOT drug screen, physical, and background check. • Meet the age requirement of 18 and hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL‑B).
