About the Role

Essential duties include operating the vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal requirements while maintaining a clean and safe truck. The driver conducts pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and reports any unsafe situations, incidents, or service calls to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. Responsibilities also encompass cooperating with scheduled training, improving route efficiencies, assisting other drivers, dumping containers cleanly, positioning them properly on customer property, and completing all required documentation at the end of each route. • Operate a CDL‑B heavy‑duty truck safely on assigned transfer routes. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete DVIR reports. • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and service issues to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Load, unload, and position containers, ensuring customer sites are left clean. • Follow route assignments, document trips, and submit customer tickets as needed.
