About the Role
The Porter / Yard Worker role, also known as Yard Associate, involves stationing and retrieving equipment on the location’s property, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, and servicing equipment as needed to meet specifications. Yard Associates inspect equipment before and after rental to document any loss or damage, ensuring accountability and equipment readiness for customers. This documentation helps maintain accurate inventory and supports the company’s high service standards. • Communicate effectively with customers (written and oral)

What You Bring
The position requires physical tasks such as bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more, and may involve working both indoors and outdoors. • High school diploma or GED preferred • Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred • Some experience or training in mechanical equipment repair preferred • Perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) • General mechanical aptitude • Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs

Base pay ranges from $18.99 to $26.11 per hour, with the starting rate varying based on location, education, training, and experience.
