About the Role
The Sr. Capture Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving strategic growth and securing major enterprise‑level pursuits within the Water Global Business line. Reporting to the Strategy and Growth lead, the role develops winning strategies, fosters collaboration across global and regional lines and ensures operational excellence throughout the pursuit lifecycle. The position offers flexible remote/virtual work options and travel as required, based in Dallas, Texas. • Lead consultative sales process to win major pursuits with competitive win strategies. • Analyze competitive landscape and apply insights from wins/losses to refine approaches. • Promote collaboration across multidisciplinary regional and global teams for client‑focused outcomes. • Ensure partnership between technical, marketing, and bidding staff for proposal best practices. • Champion full sales‑process lifecycle, maintaining quality assurance and Go/No‑Go rigor. • Coordinate strategic marketing campaigns aligned with key opportunities. • Ensure contract compliance with commercial, financial, legal, and governance requirements. • Drive accountability for sales metrics and high capture rates. • Align AECOM initiatives with client priorities on sustainability, resilience and innovation. • Build and maintain a diversified pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with business strategy. • Establish trust with client decision‑makers and internal stakeholders (CAMs, marketing, bidding, RBLLs, executive board).

What You Bring
• Direct discovery, pre‑positioning, differentiation and delivery strategies for transformative programs. • Bachelor’s degree with extensive senior‑level experience. • Minimum 12 years relevant experience, including 4 years leading business‑development strategy teams. • Proven track record delivering sales metrics and compelling value propositions. • Demonstrated success winning major pursuits and leading multidisciplinary teams. • High energy, outgoing, self‑motivated with consultative sales expertise. • Relevant industry experience in a global matrix organization.
