About the Role

• Monitor daily construction progress and enforce quality, safety, and schedule standards. • Coordinate activities among engineers, inspectors, and the construction supervision team. • Review shop drawings, design proposals, and method statements, providing technical feedback. • Collaborate with Parsons design engineers to resolve technical issues promptly. • Maintain daily diaries, inspection logs, and generate weekly and monthly progress reports. • Schedule resources and liaise with contractor engineers to optimize project timelines. • Direct, assist, and evaluate the performance of inspectors and surveyors on site. • Lead special meetings with service authorities, contractors, and subcontractors. • Ensure accurate record‑keeping, including as‑built drawings and project documentation. • Support the Resident Engineer in issuing site instructions and implementing safety procedures.

What You Bring

Parsons is seeking a highly talented Structural Engineer to serve as a construction‑supervision consultant on infrastructure projects. The position reports directly to the Resident Engineer and is responsible for ensuring project delivery aligns with quality, safety, and schedule expectations. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university. • Bring at least 8 years of experience supervising bridge and underpass construction projects. • Demonstrate ability to review material submissions, analyze lab reports, and enforce specifications. • Proficient with computer applications and engineering software for data management and reporting. • Exhibit excellent written and verbal English communication skills, especially for technical documentation.
