About the Role

The Mechanical Engineer III position is a hands‑on, full‑time role reporting to the Mechanical Director. Responsibilities include designing and sizing equipment, producing datasheets and specifications, performing hydraulic calculations, providing 3D modeling support, and reviewing construction drawings for heavy‑industrial and oil‑and‑gas facilities. • Create equipment datasheets, specifications, and bills of material for pipes, valves, and fittings. • Perform hydraulic calculations, pump sizing, and equipment sizing analyses. • Develop and review pipe specifications and provide 3D modeling and isometric support. • Evaluate contractor bid packages, conduct site walk‑downs, and respond to RFIs. • Review construction drawings, generate line/equipment lists, and support construction documentation. • Conduct stress analysis using CAESAR II and produce analysis reports. • Act as Engineer‑of‑Record, review and seal designs, and mentor junior engineers.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Professional Engineer license, a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and at least five years of relevant experience. Strong written and verbal communication, problem‑solving, self‑direction, and leadership skills are essential. The position involves typical office work with occasional site visits, requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 25 lb, and adherence to core competencies such as teamwork, communication, ethics, initiative, and quality. • Hold a Professional Engineer license and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience. • Demonstrate strong communication, problem‑solving, self‑direction, and leadership abilities. • Maintain a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to lift up to 25 lb.
