About the Role
Key activities involve creating and executing prospecting plans, traveling to customer sites to present offerings, assisting customers in identifying needs and recommending solutions, and continuously monitoring market activity to uncover new opportunities. The role also entails providing feedback on customer specifications, terms, and competitive issues, generating forecasts and reports, delivering presentations at trade shows and meetings, and contributing to marketing strategy and annual revenue forecasting. • Meet or exceed defined sales objectives for market share, profitability, and revenue. • Identify prospective accounts and engage senior stakeholders. • Travel to client locations (about half of the time) to showcase product offerings and advise on solutions. • Track industry activity, spot emerging opportunities, and compile analytical sales reports. • Present product portfolios at exhibitions and client forums. • Work closely with cross‑functional teams to address customer requirements.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least five years of experience selling engineered or industrial products, with a bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field strongly preferred. Required skills include a solid grasp of basic mechanical and electrical engineering principles, strong initiative, independent work ability, and excellent sales, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Oracle, Salesforce and similar tools is expected, and the position requires approximately 50 % overnight travel. • Minimum five years’ experience in engineered/industrial product sales; bachelor's degree advantageous. • Demonstrate understanding of core mechanical/electrical engineering concepts and strong negotiation abilities. • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Oracle, Salesforce, and related platforms.
