About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the incumbent will engage key contacts in the education, healthcare, industrial, and large commercial sectors, building opportunities to bid on projects and presenting technical information at board level. Leads will be managed through Salesforce, and a dedicated Estimator/Technical Bid Manager will assist with sophisticated proposals. Core objectives include expanding the sales pipeline and improving conversion rates to achieve defined targets. • Secure fire detection and electronic security installation projects across a defined territory. • Lead the sales cycle, conduct building surveys, and design system solutions. • Develop and maintain relationships with clients in education, healthcare, industrial, and large commercial sectors. • Manage leads and drive sales performance using Salesforce; collaborate with estimators for complex proposals. • Grow the sales pipeline and improve conversion rates to meet target objectives.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in account, specification, or project sales within a technical environment, as well as experience selling B2B technical solutions. Independent working style, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate with operational teams to ensure high customer service standards are essential. A full UK driving licence is also required. While surveying buildings and designing fire or security systems, along with CRM and Salesforce expertise, are preferred, Johnson Controls offers training for motivated individuals who are eager to learn. The organization prides itself on strong technical and sales teams that support professional development. • Demonstrated success in account, specification, or project sales within a technical sector. • Experience selling B2B technical solutions and ability to work independently. • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with operational departments for high customer service. • Ability to develop and expand relationships throughout organizations and create successful plans. • Hold a full UK driving licence. • Preferred ability to survey buildings and design fire/security systems; experience with CRM/Salesforce.com.
