About the Role
• Develop understanding of Delta Faucet products and development processes • Assist in design, specification, and implementation of product development projects • Support engineers in detailed product design, assembly, and testing • Aid product engineers with production part approval, product changes, and evaluation of non‑conforming products • Complete training and use CREO solid modeling tools for component and assembly design • Participate in brainstorming meetings to conceptualize products meeting customer and market needs • Train on and operate engineering test equipment for product evaluations per specifications and plumbing codes • Contribute as a member of cross‑functional product development teams • Analyze product reliability through environmental, performance, and accelerated life‑cycle testing • Assume responsibility for development activities from concept to design verification, tooling, validation testing, and product launch as experience grows

What You Bring
As a co‑op you will receive hands‑on experience in product development within a fast‑paced engineering environment, gaining exposure to Delta Faucet products, design tools, testing methods and cross‑functional processes. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will contribute to concept creation, detailed design, product evaluations and reliability testing, and as your skills grow you will assume increasing ownership of development activities throughout the product lifecycle. • Pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field • Current freshman or sophomore with a minimum 3.0 GPA • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Detail‑oriented, proactive mindset, eager to learn and take on challenges

The co‑op consists of three rotations; the first two are based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and there may be an opportunity to spend a semester at a U.S. manufacturing facility, depending on facility needs and your development goals.
