Lead and supervise electrical engineering projects, especially healthcare, as Engineer of Record.

About the Role
• Lead and supervise engineering staff, conduct employee evaluations, and assign project tasks. • Act as Engineer of Record on dedicated projects and coordinate system design and engineering work. • Assist Technical Manager and Chief Engineer with technical training and staff mentoring. • Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects. • Manage construction administration, including field reports, RFIs, bulletins, and addenda. • Coordinate monthly invoicing with accounting and monitor project accounts receivable. • Oversee correspondence with staff, clients, contractors, and owners. • Participate in budgeting, scheduling, and business unit TLC initiatives. • Prepare proposals and administer project contracts and service agreements. • Lead coordination meetings and supervise preparation of reports and system analyses. • Supervise 2–3 employees and lead projects up to $100M in construction costs. • Manage multiple assignments effectively and meet deadlines. • Work half‑day remotely on Fridays throughout the year. • Engage with dynamic Employee Resource Groups.

What You Bring
• Hold a current PE registration (or alternate certification) with healthcare design experience. • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Plumbing, or Electrical engineering. • Bring 12+ years of MEP experience, including work on healthcare, federal, critical facilities, commercial, and aviation projects. • Demonstrate knowledge of ROM construction costs and ability to estimate and evaluate costs. • Exhibit strong organizational, supervisory, and leadership abilities. • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and design/calculation software. • Understand life‑cycle costing, building codes, and industry standards in depth. • Capable of conducting seminars, publishing articles, and preparing full construction bid documents. • Maintain excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
