About the Role
The Maintenance Technician is tasked with installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant equipment to support the plant’s business goals. This role involves working on heavy‑duty and medium‑duty truck transmission production machines, applying both mechanical and multiskilled electrical/control expertise. Daily duties include diagnosing equipment problems, replacing or repairing parts, and testing adjustments while using machine and OEM software such as Fanuc robots, NC/CNC equipment, and PLC/drive systems. The technician performs scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance, reads and applies electric/electronic schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, mechanical blueprints, manuals, and work orders to guide maintenance actions. The position also supports continuous improvement initiatives, maintains a 6S work environment, assists with departmental housekeeping, reports unusual conditions, safety concerns, or defective materials, and continuously updates skills to adapt to new machinery and technology. • Utilize CMMS asset management software for maintenance tracking.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, with at least two years of manufacturing‑focused maintenance experience, and possess training in mechanics, electrical systems, industrial maintenance, or automation. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree or certification in industrial maintenance combined with three to five years of electrical/automation experience, proficiency with CMMS, and knowledge of Siemens/Fanuc NC systems and Allen Bradley PLCs. • Demonstrate proficiency with Siemens/Fanuc NC systems and Allen Bradley PLCs. • Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work site; active‑duty military are exempt.
