About the Role

• Design fire sprinkler, alarm, and special suppression systems. • Develop life‑safety code compliance plans and permit documents. • Provide technical advisory support to project teams on fire protection challenges. • Conduct interdisciplinary reviews to ensure deliverables align with project goals. • Prepare construction cost estimates and technical effort estimates for projects. • Perform quality‑control reviews of design calculations and drawings. • Write detailed fire‑protection specifications for contract documents. • Contribute to engineering budgets and schedules for large, complex projects. • Lead fire protection and life‑safety design on high‑profile assignments.

What You Bring

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in fire‑protection, mechanical or civil engineering, at least six years of relevant experience, a Professional Engineering license and U.S. citizenship. Preferred candidates have eight or more years of fire‑protection experience, project‑management leadership, a Master’s degree, deep knowledge of codes and standards, and strong analytical and communication skills. • Minimum: Bachelor’s in relevant engineering field, 6 + years experience, PE license, U.S. citizenship. • Preferred: 8 + years fire‑protection experience, project management, Master’s degree, deep code knowledge, strong analytical and communication skills.
