About the Role
Under the general direction of the Finance Manager, the Financial Analyst is responsible for account reconciliation, analysis, and customer service across all finance activities. The role requires effective collaboration with stakeholders from every department and supports financial and analytical processes related to contract acquisition, cost controls, cash, and intercompany transactions. Key duties include coordinating contract securing, billing, collections, subcontract creation, vendor purchase orders, and resource planning with guidance from Operations Team Leaders. The Analyst partners with Operations Team Managers to ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial commitments are met while maintaining compliance with state, local, federal, and legal requirements and upholding the highest ethical standards. The Analyst assists in preparing and analyzing cash activity for accounts receivable and payable, as well as intercompany activity for customers and vendors. They ensure all transactions are accurately recorded at month end, monitor performance indicators, highlight trends, and provide insights for decision‑making. Additional responsibilities involve supporting month‑end close, handling ad‑hoc requests, resolving customer and subcontractor inquiries, creating billing schedules, validating invoice receipt, and maintaining up‑to‑date customer contact information. Providing financial support to Area/Regional Operations Management Teams, the Analyst identifies issues, recommends solutions, and participates in monthly operations business review meetings to present critical account information and revenue forecasts. They proactively address process‑related challenges, prioritize work based on financial impact, and act as a liaison to the India Business Center, performing other duties as needed to support the P3 Team. • Reconcile and analyze accounts across finance activities. • Support contract procurement, billing, collections, and vendor purchase orders. • Prepare and analyze cash flow for accounts receivable and payable. • Process intercompany transactions for customers and vendors. • Record month‑end transactions and support close activities. • Monitor performance indicators, identify variances, and provide insights. • Respond to and resolve customer and subcontractor inquiries. • Create billing schedules, validate invoice receipt, and obtain approvals. • Maintain accurate customer contact information in business tools. • Facilitate contract bookings, change orders, and certified payroll reporting. • Provide financial analysis and support to area and regional operations teams. • Participate in monthly operations business review meetings and present financial status. • Identify operational issues, recommend solutions, and drive process improvements. • Prioritize tasks based on financial impact to achieve business goals. • Act as liaison between operations and the India Business Center. • Uphold compliance with state, local, federal, and legal requirements. • Build and sustain long‑term relationships with customers and subcontractors.
