About the Role

You will lead and execute the complete systems engineering development lifecycle, covering requirements management, design, development, verification & validation, and qualification & certification testing. The position also influences continual improvement of the SE capability and drives the evolution toward an MBSE environment. Key technical responsibilities include developing system and sub‑system architectures, decomposing and allocating requirements into LRUs, and using requirements capture tools such as CRADLE and DOORS NG. Exposure to industry standards like ARP4754A and IEC 15288, as well as modeling tools such as Rhapsody, is desirable. The role involves multiphysics system modeling and validation across mechanical, pneumatic/hydraulic, and electrical/electronic domains, employing MATLAB/Simulink for simulations and CAD/analysis tools like Creo, AmeSim, and MathCAD. You will also drive digital transformation by leveraging data, insights, and digital tools. • Lead and execute the full systems engineering lifecycle, from requirements to certification testing. • Drive continuous improvement and transition to a Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment. • Develop system and sub‑system architectures using SysML tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, Capella, and Enterprise Architect. • Apply industry standards like ARP4754A and IEC 15288 to ensure compliance and best practices. • Capture and manage requirements with tools like CRADLE and DOORS NG. • Perform multiphysics simulations in MATLAB/Simulink for mechanical, pneumatic/hydraulic, and electrical domains. • Utilize CAD and analysis software (Creo, AmeSim, MathCAD) for design and advanced problem solving. • Prepare project schedules and manage costs in collaboration with project leads.

What You Bring

The role requires a Systems Engineering practitioner with hands‑on experience in multi‑disciplinary, safety‑critical domains such as aerospace and automotive. The candidate must be proficient in Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and have deep expertise with SysML toolchains, including Cameo, MagicDraw, Capella, and Enterprise Architect. The candidate should hold a B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical, Electronics, or Systems Engineering; an INCOSE certification is a plus. Required experience includes 5+ years (M.S.) or 7+ years (B.S.) in systems engineering and at least 2 years with MBSE/SysML methodologies, along with strong communication, results‑driven attitude, and an analysis‑first mindset. • Hold a B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical, Electronics, or Systems Engineering; INCOSE certification is a plus. • Minimum 5 years (M.S.) or 7 years (B.S.) systems engineering experience and 2 years MBSE/SysML experience. • Demonstrated expertise in requirements engineering, verification & validation, and system architecture. • Strong communication, results‑driven attitude, and an analysis‑first mindset.
