About the Role
The Intern Engineering role offers hands‑on experience on bridge projects, allowing you to assist with design, drawings, inspections, and site visits while learning CADD software under the guidance of professional engineers and project managers. • Assist in designing bridge elements using CADD tools. • Develop and revise engineering drawings. • Support inspections and site visits for movable and fixed bridges. • Learn and apply CADD software for plan development. • Participate in mentoring and young professional programs. • Apply standard engineering techniques under supervision. • Complete assignments directed by a Professional Engineer or Project Manager.

What You Bring
• At least 2 years toward a degree with a 3.0+ GPA. • Familiarity with industry‑relevant software packages. • Experience with 2D CAD/drafting software (MicroStation or AutoCAD). • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred). • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program. • High attention to detail. • Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities. • Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office applications.
