About the Role

• Provide leadership and direction to managers and professional staff, expanding technical expertise. • Manage the department’s financial performance, including profit and loss accountability. • Review proposals for technical accuracy and financial viability. • Develop and track business plans and financial metrics. • Advise regional business managers on growth strategies, staff recruitment, and retention. • Recruit, retain, and develop staff at all levels. • Act as project manager, lead verifier, or technical lead as required. • Collaborate with Project Delivery Leads to improve financial performance and client satisfaction. • Lead and support business development opportunities. • Identify and resolve operational challenges, establishing standards for natural‑resource activities. • Execute tactical business plans aligned with regional and global strategies. • Drive regional business development and manage regional resources. • Direct associate work across varied tasks within the field. • Apply deep expertise in environmental planning, problem‑solving, and interpersonal communication.

What You Bring

• Minimum: BA/BS in Environmental Sciences, 10 + years experience (including 2 years leadership), valid driver’s license, U.S. citizenship. • Preferred: MA/MS or MBA, 15 + years natural‑resource investigation experience in the Southeast, proven ability to manage interdisciplinary teams, fiscal management experience.
