About the Role

The Business Coordinator role oversees general office activities for the apartment community, serving as the first point of contact for residents and delivering high-level customer service. Responsibilities include handling inquiries, coordinating service requests, supporting leasing functions, and managing social and resident-experience programs. • Serve as the first point of contact for residents, addressing questions and resolving issues or referring them as needed. • Prepare service requests, coordinate with contractors, and assist with move-in and move-out inspections. • Maintain knowledge of leasing policies, handle lease renewals, and act as liaison between residents and property staff. • Ensure compliance with company policies, fair housing laws, and affordable housing regulations. • Plan and manage monthly social events within budget, act as the property’s social media ambassador, and monitor resident-experience survey responses. • Perform administrative duties such as answering calls, proofreading materials, preparing correspondence, scheduling appointments, distributing mail, and maintaining records. • Drive resident retention and lease renewals, provide weekly renewal updates, and meet or exceed monthly renewal targets. • Supervise front desk and leasing employees, schedule and conduct training, and uphold high standards of customer service.

What You Bring

The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED; additional vocational training is preferred. Candidates should have 1-2 years of customer service and resident retention experience.
