About the Role
The GIS Technician role supports environmental and archaeological projects by performing spatial analyses, preparing maps, and managing data in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online. The position also assists field teams with mobile GIS/GPS equipment, follows documented technical procedures, and contributes to other tasks as needed. • Assist on environmental and archaeological projects • Conduct spatial analyses and produce maps using ArcGIS • Enter, edit, and maintain spatial and tabular data in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online • Support field data collection with mobile GIS/GPS equipment • Follow documented technical procedures and perform additional duties as required

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Planning, Engineering, Natural Science or related field, or equivalent experience (preferred) • Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent experience (required) • Practical experience with editing, database development, and map production in ArcGIS • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively • Effective written and oral communication skills
