• Develop scopes and proposals, build project teams, and manage execution, closeout, quality, schedule, and budget. • Independently coordinate engineers and team members throughout the project life cycle. • Apply project management tools such as work breakdown structures, scope, schedule, budget, financial controls, and earned value. • Implement contractual terms and financial constraints, coordinating with operations leads to meet financial plans. • Coordinate project reviews with area leadership and company management as needed. • Mentor or train other Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers. • Collaborate with marketing and technical leadership on business development and execution. • Provide client management and technical support as required. • Commit to quality, continuous improvement, and HDR values. • Actively participate in the employee‑owned culture.

What You Bring

HDR Engineering is seeking a Project Manager for its nationally ranked Power Delivery team in Tampa, Orlando, and West Palm Beach, FL. The role involves planning and managing high‑voltage transmission line projects of any size and complexity for large clients, with a preference for experience in overhead line design and construction from 69 kV to 500 kV. • Hold a PE license (strongly preferred). • Possess PMP certification (optional). • Have 3+ years of overall experience, including prior project management. • Experience with EPC projects (preferred). • Demonstrate leadership and strong communication skills. • Exhibit a track record of effective collaboration with diverse teams and managers. • Proficient with Microsoft Office. • Possess strong verbal and written communication abilities. • Earn a bachelor’s degree in a related field. • Accumulate a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. • Complete at least 2 years of project management experience. • Interact effectively with various design teams. • Maintain excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
