About the Role
The Logistics Analyst coordinates drivers, trucks, and containers to generate capacity, maximize productivity, and deliver prompt, courteous, and efficient service to customers. This role also oversees safety, customer experience, and overall productivity. Key duties include ensuring compliance with safety policies, analyzing daily route information with the internal routing platform, and making proactive adjustments to improve route efficiency and accuracy. The analyst closes routes on time, verifies data accuracy, resolves transit issues, manages driver safety and asset security, and analyzes logistics data to enhance routing decisions. The analyst maintains constant communication with drivers to monitor progress, provides necessary information, and addresses performance issues or missed pickups by developing preventive strategies. They also create capacity‑maximizing routes, monitor daily routing activities for on‑time pickups and deliveries, and evaluate swing routes and disposal plans. • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures. • Analyze and adjust daily routes using the internal routing platform to improve efficiency and accuracy. • Close routes on time while verifying data accuracy. • Proactively resolve issues while trucks and drivers are in transit. • Manage driver safety, security of assets, and provide direction to drivers. • Collect, interpret, and analyze logistics data (inventory, asset reliability) to enhance routing accuracy. • Communicate constantly with drivers to monitor progress and provide necessary information. • Address driver performance issues and missed pickups, developing preventive strategies. • Create capacity‑maximizing routes and monitor daily routing activities for on‑time pickup and delivery. • Evaluate swing routes, identify opportunities, and analyze swing‑percentage trends. • Coordinate disposal plans, verify optimal disposal sites, and update plans with the Operations Manager. • Respond to service requests to improve efficiency and customer experience.

What You Bring
Qualifications require strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
