About the Role
Each day you will operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, and front‑end loaders at one of WM’s recycling facilities serving over 20 million customers, playing a vital role in the company’s operations while adhering to strict safety procedures. • Operate bulldozers, scrapers, front‑end loaders per safety policies • Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance; keep records • Move and position raw materials and finished components using material‑moving equipment • Follow standard operating procedures for vehicle operation and maintenance • Work independently and uphold safety guidelines • Occasionally handle objects under 30 lb

What You Bring
The role requires strong motor coordination and finger dexterity, occasional handling of items under 30 lb, and exposure to typical site conditions such as dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes, with rare risks of cuts, burns, or toxic chemicals. • Minimum 1 year heavy‑equipment operating experience • Age 18 or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S. • Ability to meet physical requirements (with or without accommodations) • Pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical • Communicate effectively and support colleagues • Solve problems independently • Use motor coordination and finger dexterity throughout the workday • Rare exposure to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals • Frequent exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes
