About the Role

• Advise on procurement strategies and contract selection; produce detailed procurement reports and drive procurement stages to completion. • Provide expert technical and functional guidance, applying value management techniques in early project phases. • Lead estimating and cost planning activities; prepare and present final cost plans. • Oversee preparation and formal execution of contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licenses. • Manage cost control, valuations, reporting, and financial governance, including design change costs, construction costs, and client charge management. • Evaluate claims for delays and additional costs; manage certificates of practical completion, defect rectification, and final account agreement. • Lead large teams, ensuring high performance, KPI delivery, continuous improvement, and professional development through coaching and performance management. • Promote best‑practice processes, drive transformational improvements, and support net‑zero carbon goals by managing emissions and reduction opportunities.

What You Bring

Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey. • Hold a degree in quantity surveying or cost management (or equivalent). • Possess professional membership (e.g., MRICS/RICS) and be progressing towards fellowship or comparable professional development. • Demonstrate strong commercial and financial acumen. • Have solid knowledge of value engineering, life‑cycle costing, contract law, and construction contractual frameworks. • Experience leading and managing large, diverse teams. • Proven ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
