About the Role
The Material Handler role at Terex involves moving and controlling materials and finished goods throughout the plant. The employee replenishes materials on the flow line, handles basic issues, and escalates complex problems to higher‑level staff. Work is performed under general supervision with guidance on procedural changes and new regulations. • Follow Terex safety policies and The Terex Way Values. • Deliver materials to work stations to meet production demands. • Operate fork trucks, tugger trucks, or other powered industrial trucks. • Support kanban implementation, stock material, and expedite as needed. • Perform material counts to verify on‑hand quantities. • Maintain a clean work area and uphold 5S standards. • Troubleshoot basic material‑handling issues and refer complex problems upward. • Flexibly assist other areas and departments as required. • Read and interpret blueprints, tape measurements, and written instructions. • Recognize safety hazards and take corrective actions. • Maintain confidentiality of business and product information. • Consistently attend work and provide proper notification of absences. • Participate in paid time off, holidays, 401(k) matching, and employee stock purchase plan.

What You Bring
Candidates should have 0–2 years of material‑handling experience and at least a high‑school diploma or equivalent. Preference is given to individuals certified to operate forklifts, tugger trucks, or other powered industrial trucks, or those who can obtain certification. Basic computer skills and the ability to read blueprints, follow verbal and written instructions, and interpret tape measurements are required. The position requires medium to heavy physical effort, including frequent lifting of 10–40 lb and occasional lifting of 40–100 lb with assistance, and standing on concrete for ten or more hours per shift. Key competencies include mechanical aptitude, effective communication, teamwork, independent work with minimal supervision, safety‑hazard recognition, confidentiality, and reliable attendance. • Possess 0–2 years of material‑handling experience. • Hold a high‑school diploma or equivalent; forklift certification preferred. • Demonstrate basic computer proficiency. • Exhibit mechanical aptitude and effective communication skills. • Work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to team goals.

Benefits
The hourly wage ranges from $22.00 to $23.80, and a $3,000 sign‑on bonus is paid in two installments, contingent on continued employment.
