About the Role

The Senior Field Technician/Site Inspector will support mining infrastructure projects on sites in Northern Québec, including the Côte‑Nord and Abitibi‑Témiscamingue regions. Multiple positions are available for technicians focused on construction monitoring and materials quality control for major projects. • Perform civil engineering construction monitoring using heavy machinery. • Conduct materials quality control, including sampling during drilling operations. • Carry out in‑situ density testing with a nuclear densimeter and fresh concrete testing. • Run laboratory tests such as sieve analyses, Proctor tests, moisture content, and sedimentation tests. • Write daily progress reports and provide technical support to on‑site engineering teams. • Participate in construction planning and ensure compliance with plans and specifications. • Promote company values and maintain health and safety standards within the team. • Perform packer tests when required (asset).

What You Bring

• Hold a diploma in civil engineering (AEC, DEC, or equivalent) with at least 10 years of construction site experience. • Be mobile and willing to work in remote regions; eligible to drive a rental vehicle. • Lift loads of up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and demonstrate resourcefulness, autonomy, and strong teamwork. • Enjoy outdoor work in a fast‑paced environment with variable weather conditions and a 14‑days on/14‑days off fly‑in/fly‑out schedule. • Communicate fluently in written and spoken French (mandatory) and English (asset). • Maintain an ASP Construction Safety Card and a valid Québec driver’s license.
