About the Role

The Senior Systems Engineer will support the company’s hardware, software, networking and server technologies across corporate offices, remote sites and data centers. The role involves developing, testing, installing, configuring and troubleshooting systems while producing documentation, diagrams and procedures. The position requires independent work and the ability to balance multiple locations. Key duties include ensuring system stability and integrity, monitoring performance, establishing hardware compatibility processes, installing and tuning software, and providing technical leadership to IT Operations teams. The engineer also supports capacity‑planning analysis, leads technical workgroups, implements design‑driven solutions and resolves complex service requests. • Ensure stability, integrity, and efficient operation of core business systems. • Monitor systems for optimal performance aligned with business needs and IT policies. • Establish input/output processes and hardware compatibility parameters. • Install, maintain, and performance‑tune technical software products. • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to IT Operations and Support teams. • Support capacity‑planning analysis and reporting for procurement and performance monitoring. • Lead workgroups or functions as a technical expert and implement solutions from design specifications. • Resolve complex, non‑routine service requests.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT (preferred) and brings at least eight years of systems or network engineering experience in complex distributed environments. Required expertise includes monitoring, virtualization, data storage, cloud technologies (SSO, federated identity, SAML, Azure AD), Windows administration, PowerShell, Azure infrastructure, VMware/vSphere or Hyper‑V, and advanced networking across LAN/WAN and enterprise Wi‑Fi. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred. • 8+ years of systems or network engineering experience in complex distributed environments. • Experience with monitoring systems, virtualization, and data storage technologies. • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies such as SSO, federated identity, SAML, Azure AD, and cloud‑based email/SharePoint. • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows administration, PowerShell, and Azure infrastructure. • Experience with VMware/vSphere or Microsoft Hyper‑V. • Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, storage systems, and network devices. • Ability to administer and tune LAN/WAN, enterprise Wi‑Fi, switching, and routing across OSI layers.
