About the Role
The role involves interpreting blueprints and building plans, executing concrete and rough carpentry, installing door frames and hardware, and completing a range of finish carpentry tasks such as trim work, cabinetry, and coffered ceilings, while also building relationships with diverse team members. • Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine material requirements and dimensions. • Perform concrete and rough carpentry, including hand-set walls, footings, gang wall forms, structural decks, slabs, columns, and drywall. • Set door frames, hang doors, and install hardware. • Complete finish carpentry tasks such as installing toilet accessories, handrails, corner guards, partitions, lockers, cabinets, countertops, wall paneling, coffered ceilings, and running trim. • Build relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, have completed an apprenticeship and union-specific training, and be capable of reading plans, visualizing objects, and operating tools like table saws and rigging equipment with precision. The position includes physical demands such as repetitive motions and lifting up to 50 lb (over 50 lb with assistance), offers a base pay range that varies by state and location, and does not provide visa sponsorship; applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. • High school diploma or GED required. • Completion of an apprenticeship program. • Union-specific training required. • Ability to work with precision, visualize solid objects from drawings, read plans, and operate equipment (table saws, radial arm saws, belt & disc sanders, drill presses, fall protection, rigging, form systems). • Strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, professional customer service skills, detail orientation, and effective communication. • Physical demands include repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements. • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lb; over 50 lb requires assistance or equipment.
