About the Role
The Estimating Hub produces a full suite of outputs, including order‑of‑magnitude and detailed first‑principles estimates, estimating assurance, support for major programme set‑up and estimating data services, all aimed at informing client decision‑making. Estimators are responsible for producing accurate, comprehensive cost plans and estimates on schedule, managing the estimating process at project level, delivering estimates independently, promoting best‑practice estimating within the firm, contributing to departmental goals, and staying current with technical developments to advise clients effectively. • Produce accurate, comprehensive cost estimates and cost plans for infrastructure projects. • Manage the end‑to‑end estimating process at the project level without supervision. • Deliver various estimating outputs such as order‑of‑magnitude, detailed estimates, assurance, and data support. • Promote and embed estimating best practices across the organization. • Contribute to departmental objectives and stay updated on technical developments. • Maintain proficiency with estimating software packages.

What You Bring
Turner & Townsend is hiring Estimators and Senior Estimators with proven experience in infrastructure sectors such as rail, airports, highways, power, water or utilities. Positions are available in London, Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester, with the flexibility to work remotely from the UK on global client projects. Candidates should hold high‑level qualifications in Estimating or Quantity Surveying, have substantial experience delivering estimating or QS services on large projects, be proficient with estimating software, and possess or be working toward chartered membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB, A.C.E.). • Hold or be progressing toward chartered membership with RICS, CIOB, or A.C.E. • Work flexibly from UK locations, including remote options for global client assignments.
