About the Role
As an Assistant Project Manager you will be the backbone of project execution, keeping schedules on track, budgets aligned, and communication flowing. You will work closely with project managers, technical teams, and clients to coordinate permitting activities, maintain documentation, and drive collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. • Prepare and review encroachment permit packages for accuracy and compliance. • Support scope, schedule, and budget management for large, complex projects. • Coordinate field data collection and integrate findings into workflows. • Track deliverables, maintain documentation, and provide status updates to project managers and clients. • Facilitate communication between environmental and operational teams. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.

What You Bring
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, project management, planning or a related field (or equivalent experience) and 1–2+ years of experience in project or environmental coordination. Strong organizational, communication, and Microsoft Office skills are essential, along with proficiency in Smartsheet or SharePoint. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, project management, planning, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Have 1–2+ years of experience in project/program management or environmental project coordination. • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication with a client‑focused approach. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and tools such as Smartsheet or SharePoint. • Preferred: experience supporting client deliverables and coordinating across teams. • Preferred: familiarity with vegetation management programs and regulatory requirements.
