About the Role
• Lead design teams on small and large structural projects. • Produce structural calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications. • Make major design recommendations within a multidisciplinary team. • Plan design work and schedule, assigning tasks to junior staff. • Coordinate design schedules with architectural, mechanical, electrical, geotechnical, and technology disciplines. • Maintain accurate project documentation and design data. • Mentor junior engineers and ensure quality of their deliverables. • Meet with clients, prepare proposals and presentations, and sustain client relations. • Perform quality control checks on other projects. • Use 3D structural analysis software to evaluate gravity and lateral loads. • Represent AECOM and liaise with external organizations.

What You Bring
The Senior Structural Engineer position in Denver, CO, leads technically proficient teams to develop structural designs, calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications for complex projects. The role requires strong written and verbal communication, organization, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively while quickly identifying and solving issues. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering and possess at least eight years of structural analysis and design experience, along with a Professional Engineer license. Preferred qualifications include ten or more years of experience, a Structural Engineer license, a Master’s degree, and proven expertise with BIM software such as Revit and AutoCAD. • Hold a B.S. in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering with 8+ years of experience and a PE license. • Preferred: 10+ years experience, SE license, Master’s degree, and BIM proficiency (Revit, AutoCAD). • Strong oral and written communication skills.
