About the Role
In this role you will design piping systems, mechanical equipment and process components, contribute to 2D and 3D arrangement drawings, perform engineering calculations and review documents, and prepare specifications, datasheets and requisitions. You will support field activities, attend client sites and construction reviews, build strong client relationships, enforce health and safety policies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality, cost‑effective projects on time. • Design and specify piping systems, rotating and static equipment for industrial and mining projects. • Create 2D/3D arrangement drawings, develop layouts, and perform engineering calculations. • Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, requisitions, and support bid evaluations. • Support field activities, conduct construction reviews, and attend project meetings. • Build and maintain strong client relationships with responsive communication. • Enforce health and safety policies throughout all project phases. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cost‑effective, timely delivery.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of mechanical or piping engineering experience in industrial/mining design, is a licensed P.Eng in British Columbia, and possesses strong knowledge of ASME, API, MSS, ASTM, NFPA and CSA standards. Experience with pipe stress analysis (e.g., CAESAR II) and exposure to power plants, mines, mills or pulp and paper projects are assets. Strong English communication skills, a valid driver’s licence, willingness to travel, a team‑oriented mindset, and optional French language ability are also required. • Minimum 5 years mechanical/piping engineering experience in industrial/mining design. • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in British Columbia. • Knowledge of ASME, API, MSS, ASTM, NFPA, CSA standards; pipe stress analysis (CAESAR II) a plus. • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel; French language skills advantageous.
