KBR is seeking a highly qualified Space Acquisition Program Element Monitor (PEM) Support Analyst to support the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Space Acquisition and Integration (SAF/SQ) in Arlington, VA. SAF/SQ oversees Department of the Air Force space‑systems acquisition, architecture oversight, and integration of allied, civil, and commercial capabilities into U.S. Space Force architectures. The office collaborates closely with the Chief of Space Operations and USSF staff and guides the Space Rapid Capabilities Office, Space Systems Command, and Space Development Agency. Its guiding objectives are to drive speed into space acquisitions, make the architecture more resilient, integrate with other war‑fighting domains, enforce program‑management discipline, and time‑phase acquisitions for operational availability. Achieving these objectives requires a workforce with deep expertise in systems engineering, program management, architecture analysis, budgeting, and executive‑level communication. The position is on‑site in Arlington, VA with minimal travel (0‑20 %). Standard working hours are a 40‑hour week. The role demands strong networking, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills to work collaboratively with personnel at all levels of the customer organization. Must hold an active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility, a bachelor’s degree, and 5‑7 years of space‑related experience. Candidates should be familiar with the full range of space operations, defense and national‑security space strategy, requirements, capabilities, architectures, programs, acquisition, and operations, as well as civil, commercial, and international space capabilities. Experience on a headquarters staff, excellent organizational, writing, editing, and attention‑to‑detail abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required. • Hold an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility and 5–7 years of space‑related experience. • Possess a bachelor’s degree and familiarity with space operations, defense and national‑security space, and civil/commercial capabilities. • Demonstrate strong writing, editing, and attention‑to‑detail skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard computer applications. • Work on‑site with minimal travel (0‑20%) and a standard 40‑hour week.
