About the Role

The Maintenance Technician for multifamily properties supports resident experiences by ensuring quality move‑ins, high satisfaction, and timely service. This role is accountable for delivering personal attention and superior customer service to residents. Daily responsibilities include preparing vacant units for new occupants through painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and minor repairs, as well as addressing resident maintenance requests promptly. The technician utilizes skills in plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical work, carpentry, painting, and snow removal, and maintains common area amenities such as grounds, pools, hot tubs, and dog parks. Work is performed in a professional office setting with regular use of standard equipment and involves travel between properties in various weather conditions. Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, lifting up to 100 lb, and being on‑call for after‑hour emergencies. • Prepare make‑ready apartments (paint, carpet repair, cleaning, minor repairs) • Respond promptly to resident service requests with a professional attitude • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal • Maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities • Participate in on‑call rotation for after‑hour emergencies • Report maintenance issues in vacant units and common areas to supervisor • Follow fair housing laws, safety procedures, and company dress code

What You Bring

The position requires a valid driver’s license, EPA 608 Type II certification, and knowledge of state and federal fair‑housing regulations.
