About the Role

The role manages all on‑site field construction activities for medium‑size projects (250,000‑2 million man‑hours or $50‑$100 million in installed cost). The incumbent oversees construction supervision, field administration, procurement, and field engineering, and must be willing to relocate to construction sites. • Direct overall construction planning, identifying critical milestones and priorities. • Estimate budgets and staffing requirements for scope and schedule. • Coordinate subcontractors and major equipment to ensure timely availability and productivity. • Assign Construction Superintendents to work areas, monitor progress, and recommend corrective actions. • Conduct performance evaluations and advise on promotions and salary adjustments. • Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency, meet schedules, and stay within budget. • Anticipate and mitigate potential problem areas to keep project phases on track. • Enforce sound construction practices to achieve quality control while minimizing cost. • Prepare periodic progress reports for senior management and clients. • Implement company and client policies, including labor relations, and serve as primary liaison with clients, subcontractors, and government representatives.

What You Bring

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a construction‑related field or equivalent experience, with 15+ years of field construction expertise. • Experience on large civil/structural or industrial projects domestically or internationally; prior federal project work is highly desired. • Must have US person status and ability to obtain/maintain federal government project and site access; local candidates preferred.
