About the Role
The Strategic Account Manager, Multi-family is tasked with increasing market share and driving profitable growth within the multi‑family housing segment. This role builds trusted, long‑term relationships with developers, owners, asset managers, and other influencers to shape specifications and expand Delta’s presence in new construction, renovation, and MRO opportunities. Success is measured by strategic partnerships, increased share of wallet, and measurable business outcomes for both customers and the company. Key responsibilities encompass account development and management, influencing project specifications, and delivering tailored solutions through cross‑functional collaboration. The manager will create and execute comprehensive sales and account plans, support projects from concept through construction, and provide Voice of Customer feedback to product and marketing teams. Collaboration with internal product, marketing, sales, project sales, regional, distribution, and customer service teams ensures smooth project execution and alignment with the multi‑family segment. • Build and nurture relationships with owners, developers, designers, and influencers in the multi‑family sector. • Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts to drive specifications, brand preference, and revenue growth. • Lead RFPs, negotiations, and deliver product presentations, CEUs, and design consultations. • Identify early‑stage projects, influence specifications, and provide support from concept through construction. • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and account plans with market analysis and revenue targets. • Collaborate with product, marketing, sales, project sales, regional, distribution, and customer service teams. • Provide Voice of Customer feedback to product development and marketing.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) and have at least five years of sales or sales‑management experience. Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and business‑acumen skills are required, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting demands. Preferred experience includes commercial interiors, residential design, multi‑family or hospitality segments, and selling building products, with familiarity in CRM and sales analytics tools and willingness to travel approximately 60%. • Minimum 5 years of sales or sales‑management experience; Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred). • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple projects. • Experience in commercial interiors, multi‑family or hospitality segments and selling building products preferred. • Willingness to travel up to 60 % and proficiency with CRM and sales analytics tools.
