About the Role
The Operations Supervisor role focuses on employee safety, problem‑solving, and delivering service excellence, combining strategic oversight with hands‑on daily operations. This position is available nationwide. The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor oversees a maintenance shop, leads a technician team, ensures preventive maintenance of trucks, containers, and heavy‑duty equipment, and schedules work to meet safety, compliance, and productivity goals. This role is also nationwide. • Fleet Maintenance Supervisor leads technician teams for preventive maintenance of fleet equipment nationwide.

What You Bring

Participation requires command authorization and is open to any rank, enlisted or officer. The SkillBridge opportunities include the Operations Manager Accelerated Program (OMAP), an 18‑month rotation through core business functions that provides technical and leadership development and exposure to senior leaders. SkillBridge participants are not employed or paid by Republic Services during the program; the DoD continues their pay and benefits.
