About the Role
The role involves physical labor on construction sites, assisting crews with the installation of utilities such as sewer, water, and storm drain, and performing tasks like checking grade, compacting, and shoveling. All work is performed in accordance with the company’s safety manual and policies. • Control traffic passing near, in, or around the work zone. • Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. • Load, unload, or identify building materials or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations per project plans or specifications. • Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed. • Manually dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications using various power and hand tools. • Tend to pumps, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery, or equipment, or to heat or move materials such as dirt, gravel, and asphalt. • Clean tools, equipment, and work areas. • Follow the company’s safety policies and procedures as described in the safety manual.

What You Bring
• Minimum six months of construction or related experience. • Ability to meet physical requirements, including sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 lb, working at heights, in confined spaces, and in all weather conditions.
