About the Role

Summary: The Project Controls Engineer III gathers and analyzes project information to produce reports that track time, quantity and costs on a specific project. Reviews this information with the project team to improve profitability on the job. • Gather cost information using the JMP process, including project schedule, time and quantities, and daily logs. • Analyze cost information and recommend adjustments to daily cost targets and goals. • Support project team with cost‑saving recommendations on procurements, delivery scheduling, resource management, manpower loading, and equipment scheduling. • Collaborate with project team to generate change orders, budget revisions, procurements, financial reports, billings, cash‑management reports, time records, and invoice approvals. • Generate weekly cost reports and draft the monthly financial report. • Prepare and process sub‑contract changes and billing for approval by Controls or Project Manager. • Oversee inventory management, supplier billing oversight, and stored materials billing. • Maintain all logs, including concrete and rebar logs. • Champion an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) environment for the project. • Follow safety guidelines, such as wearing PPE and staying aware of surroundings, and comply with proper safety procedures. • Participate in training and certification programs. • Read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and government regulations. • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedures. • Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public. • Apply mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions. • Provide strong internal customer service and constructive feedback to improve project profitability. • Define problems, collect information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. • Interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of construction experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Proficient with software including Timberline, Primavera, BIM, Filenet, Bindr, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Understand and use contracts, specifications, drawings, and scope of work.
