Welding and material handling position at Terex, full‑weekend shift (6 am‑6:30 pm).
Job Highlights
About the Role
Team members are expected to follow Terex safety policies and operate a range of welding machines—including short‑arc, stick, and FCAW—on materials such as X1050 and T‑1. They will also use stationary and portable grinders, pneumatic chipping hammers, and material‑handling equipment to prepare weldments, and must read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches while setting up jigs, fixtures, and temporary gauges. Additional duties include using computer terminals, complying with Terex Utilities quality standards to achieve zero‑defect work, promoting The Terex Way Values, and performing other functions as needed to support the team. • Follow Terex safety policies and operate welding equipment (short‑arc, stick, FCAW) on various materials. • Use stationary/portable grinders and pneumatic chipping hammers to prepare weldments. • Operate material‑handling equipment to move parts and materials as needed. • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and set up jigs, fixtures, and gauges. • Utilize computer terminals and meet quality standards with zero defects. • Promote The Terex Way Values and perform additional tasks to support the team.

What You Bring
Basic qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, 0‑2 years of manufacturing experience, and the ability to lift up to 40 lb independently and 40‑100 lb with assistance or equipment. Preferred qualifications include strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand tools, the ability to read engineering drawings and recognize safety hazards, and experience safely operating welding equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes. • Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent, 0‑2 years manufacturing experience, lift 40 lb unaided and 40‑100 lb with assistance/equipment. • Preferred: Strong mechanical aptitude, proficient with hand tools, ability to read engineering drawings, recognize safety hazards, operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
