About the Role
The Scaffold Builder Helper assists with the construction, dismantling, and repair of wooden and metal scaffolds as well as related auxiliary structures. Key duties include identifying required tools, assessing safety risks, measuring and cutting materials to specifications, assisting in building, reinforcing, and dismantling scaffold systems, and keeping work areas clean. • Assist other trades when not engaged in scaffolding tasks. • Identify necessary tools and safety precautions for each task. • Measure, mark, and cut wood or metal to required specifications. • Build, reinforce, and dismantle scaffold structures and auxiliary items. • Maintain clean work areas. • Work full schedule, including overtime, while adhering to safety and company regulations.

What You Bring
The role requires meeting all physical demands, following safety regulations, possessing the necessary tools, and having reliable transportation. The employee must also be willing to help other crafts when not actively working on scaffolding. Applicants need 12‑16 months of scaffold builder helper experience, knowledge of materials, tools, and basic building techniques, reliable transportation, the ability to work a full schedule with overtime, and a commitment to safety and company policies. Physical requirements involve extensive standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting above head, carrying up to 30 lb, working at heights, climbing ladders or stairways, and using appropriate fall protection equipment. • Possess required knowledge, skills, abilities, tools, and reliable transportation. • Have 12–16 months scaffold builder helper experience. • Understand materials, tools, and basic building techniques. • Perform extensive standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 30 lb; work at heights using fall protection.
