About the Role
The Pricing Analyst II role is responsible for developing pricing, researching ratemaking dimensions, and comparing cost factors. The analyst works independently within a collaborative team and interacts with Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service. Responsibilities include building scalable, efficient, user‑centric, automated processes for large‑scale data analysis, reviewing current and future pricing models, examining competitor pricing, tracking price changes due to commodity and material inputs, and applying statistical modeling to assess pricing strategy impacts. The role collaborates with sales and marketing to develop and implement competitive pricing strategies, creates dynamic pricing tools for market changes, and produces research and narratives on ratemaking and pricing strategy for internal and external audiences. They also support cross‑functional teams by communicating complex issues and recommendations to leadership in clear, logical formats.

They maintain a continuous learning mindset and a customer‑centric approach to synthesize large datasets and turn analyses into insights. • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics or related quantitative field • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in pricing and statistical analysis • Experience conducting quantitative analysis and building analytical models, dashboards, visualizations, and decision‑making tools • Proficiency with statistical programming languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) for data manipulation and insight generation • Ability to develop and optimize Excel macros, VBA, and Power BI dashboards • Experience with experimentation, such as A/B testing design • Strong ability to synthesize data, research, and analyses into concise, actionable insights • Excellent critical thinking, problem‑solving, analytical, verbal, written, and presentation skills • Strong interpersonal and influencing abilities; proven collaboration across teams • Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics or related quantitative field
