About the Role
The Project Manager delivers projects across capital water infrastructure, including valves, hydrants, water pump stations, network renewals and water main replacements, as part of the Unity Water Program. In this role you will manage the delivery phase of renewal projects while collaborating with design, scheduling, cost, commissioning and maintenance teams to ensure smooth transitions and project success. Our team leads diverse civil construction initiatives such as water and wastewater treatment plants, extensive networks, critical asset renewals and sustainable energy projects across the Moreton Bay and Sunshine Coast regions. • Manage, coordinate and deliver a complex range of projects varying in size and scope. • Foster a culture of innovation, proactively develop members, provide mentoring, lead by example and uphold the Downer Standard and Zero Harm. • Support budget management processes and collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to optimise cost, implement improvements, and ensure accurate records, reporting and forecasting. • Support procurement processes, including implementation of the Procurement Management Plan, subcontractor engagement and supplier processes. • Build strong relationships across design teams, clients and internal stakeholders to support optimal delivery and partnership.

What You Bring
• Engineering qualification with substantial experience managing civil projects on capital infrastructure. • Project Management certification and RPEQ, or willingness to obtain them. • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic contracting, service‑orientated environment. • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. • Developed analytical, planning/prioritisation, financial planning and budgeting skills.
