About the Role
The Life Safety Systems Sales Executive, Electronic will represent Johnson Controls in promoting and selling fire safety systems within an assigned territory. The role involves building relationships with prospects, delivering presentations and proposals, and working closely with district operations to ensure high‑quality service delivery while meeting sales quotas. • Establish contact with prospects, schedule sales calls, and follow up leads using company marketing strategies. • Develop a sales strategy, qualify opportunities, and maintain territory records. • Conduct seminars, demonstrations, and other events to generate and qualify leads. • Prepare proposals, financial justifications, and presentations to close sales. • Collaborate with district operations to improve service delivery. • Achieve assigned sales quota and maintain existing accounts through regular contact. • Report weekly and monthly metrics to operations and corporate teams. • Participate in trade shows and product demonstrations to grow sales and enhance brand image.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates are highly motivated, self‑disciplined and skilled at identifying, qualifying and closing sales opportunities. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering or equivalent experience, at least five years of successful sales experience in electronics or a related field, and the ability to read blueprints and work with electrical contractors are preferred. Strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft and Oracle applications, and the ability to obtain required licenses are also required. • Demonstrate high motivation, self‑discipline, and strong persuasion and closing skills. • Read blueprints and wiring diagrams; work effectively with electrical contractors (desired). • Proficient with Microsoft and Oracle software applications. • Hold a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering, or equivalent experience. • Minimum five years of successful sales experience in electronics or a related industry. • Obtain required licenses as mandated by national, state, and local codes.
